Kitso (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website kitso.food and the Kitso application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Account information: Email address and name, provided during sign-up via Clerk (our authentication provider).
• App data: Recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and household data you create within Kitso. This is stored in our Convex database.
• Usage data: Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We may use Vercel Analytics for aggregated traffic statistics.

How we use it

• To provide and maintain the Kitso service
• To authenticate you and sync your data across devices
• To improve the app based on aggregated usage patterns
• To send transactional emails (e.g. email verification) via Clerk
