By creating an account or using Kitso, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during sign-up and keep it current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Kitso for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the service
• Upload or transmit malicious code or interfere with the service's operation
• Scrape or harvest data from Kitso in an automated manner without our written consent

Subscription and billing

Kitso offers a free plan with no credit card required. The Premium plan is available at $4.99/month (USD). Subscriptions are billed monthly and auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Your content

Recipes, meal plans, and other content you create in Kitso remain yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for advertising.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or experience outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from service downtime.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Limitation of liability

Kitso is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
